Unter der alten Schleuse Charlottenburg spiegelt sich rostiges Eisen in der Spree. Die beiden Kammern der alten Schleuse werden nicht mehr genutzt – auf der anderen Seite der Insel wartet ein großes Binnenschiff vor dem Tor der neuen Schleuse angetäut im Westhafenkanal.
Rusty iron is reflected in the Spree below the old Charlottenburg lock. The two chambers of the old lock are no longer in use – on the other side of the island, a large inland vessel waits moored in the Westhafenkanal in front of the gate of the new lock.
