Toter Mantel

Shortly before reaching the northern part of the forest on ‘Pichelswerder’ a wooden runway coming from the ‘Tiefwerder Wiesen’ ends above the dead stream branch of river ‘Havel’ ‘Toter Mantel’ – the final span before reaching the stairs coming from the forest is missing, a laminated  A4-sheet apologises, that the path is blocked due to danger of accidents.

Underneath the runway logs rot in the mud, water lentil on the water inbetween. Acorns drop from the oaks onto the riverside.
