Erft


Durch ein Schott fliesst Wasser der Erft in ein Rohr unter dem Uferweg. Im Kehrwasser davor treiben kleine Nester von Muschelblumen, man hört das Gurgeln des Wassers, das auf der anderen Seite des Weges in einen Graben sprudelt.

The water of the river Erft in Rhineland flows through this bulkhead into a pipe underneath the pathway along the riverbank. In the eddy floats water lettuce. I hear the sound of the water falling into a ditch at the other end of the pipe.
